72’ exterior door handles looking to buy

So my door handles were worn and I bought replacements. They can like new but it appears all replicas keep the door handle popping out higher than the resess of the cup. It appears that original handles sat flush with the cup and that is a great look and feel but replacements are just off. I recent junk yard hunt found some but 50 years of pulling on them had them tweaked.

I’m not concerned with the chrome as I will be painting them, but does anyone a set of good original handles that sit flush and straight for sale? Thanks
