I may have a chance to get a AOD transmission from a 88-94 F250 2x4. My buddy doesn’t know what year it is exactly. He said he’ll find out soon.
Would that transmission fit in my 72?

As long as it's not a diesel and it's actually an AOD, then it'll work. The trucks also came with an E4OD which is a big unit and may not fit.
