OK, for those of you like me, who have your 71-73 as a fair weather driver, and store your car in the winter months, here's a little tip I came across to deter mice from wanting to nest in your car.

Mice do not like the smell of peppermint. Get a small vile of pure peppermint extract from your grocery store's spice isle. Put oil in/on cotton balls, then wrap them using 5"x5" sheets of aluminum foil and poke holes in the foil with a toothpick.

I made 30 balls with one $3 vile of extract, and put a few on the air filter cover, some in the trunk, and a bunch inside the car... on the floors and on the dash.

I have done this for years with our camper, after one winter some mice made their homes inside it, and have not had one more instance of mice infestation since.

Inexpensive, and it smells a hell of a lot better than moth balls :)

My wife always has cats...... I hate cats.....
