Hi everyone. I’ve rebuilt the front suspension on the ‘71 but the adjuster sleeves are so seized I can’t set initial toe in/out. The clamps are loose. I Soaked the sleeves in penetrant for 3 days and even tried map gas. They will not budge! Any suggestions?

We're talking $100 in parts for the best Moog that Rock has to offer.
yeah, my bad, let me rephrase. I've ordered mostly all moogs from rockauto for all my 429 steering and suspension parts (piggy still remembers).  I restore parts when doable and inspected these sleeves, meaning, I do not buy for the ease if I can save stuffs.
Mine, 50 years old and never replaced, were so corroded inside, there were not going back. Probably same case here.

There are cheaper new options, like these: May be not superdupper, but surely better than the rusty ones.

I've split them open at the gap and replaced them... they're cheap. Remove the bolts and spread the clamps so they slide off then spread the sleeve at the gap and it will come off the threads. Wire brush the tie rod ends to clean the threads and install new adjusters.
