Hello all
I just did my back brakes and we’ll I was bleeding them I noticed that there was no air in the lines but the brakes weren’t pushing against the drums like they should. I adjusted the brake shoes so it was snug to put the drum back on.
I took it for a ride and all you could smell is brakes. Check them with a heat monitor thingy. The one was at 228F the other 188F
Should I back them off or just run them until they wear down?

I just finished adjusting the brakes via access hole in the backing plate. Drums seemed to be in good shape. Scuffed them up with Emeril Emeril cloth

Did you change the automatic adjusting cable? Those cables stretch and then they don't work.
