Does anyone have an opinion on the best front and rear u-joints. I have an FMX auto trans and 3.55 gears if that matters. Installing the trans tomorrow and hopefully the driveshaft as well. Thanks in advance.

I've always heard spicer is the way to go. They're also owned by Dana, so they definitely know a little about drivetrains.

Supposedly NAPA'S house brand of u joint is made in the same factory.

I'm also in the spicer camp. For racing or high HP street ,I use the ones without the grease fitting as I feel the solid body is stronger. Chuck

LOL, I have broke every brand. Broke three rear ub my 73 Mach 1 under warranty. But not many people burn through 5 sets of tires in 12,000 miles either.
The ones without grease fittings are stronger due to no hole the cross. Most do not get driven enough to need grease so go with them. I use to know the numbers but do not remember now.
