Installed the KYB's yesterday. Wow what a difference. I can't believe I restored the car and didn't just change these to begin with. Duh!!! Anyway, not only is the ride so much better, it eliminated all the rattling that was going on when I'm on rough roads (which is all over SA). Also seems to have improved the stance...I may be just seeing things, but that's my story!
Oh, and few quick notes for others doing this. I did not have to remove the backseat. It was quite easy to reach down (even though, you're doing it blind) in there and used my power ratchet. Just don't cut the straps holding your shocks compressed until after they're in place. I did take the tire off. It's not necessary but makes it so much easier to get to. The fronts were easy too. I did one side at a time, put it on a jack stand, and put the jack on the lower control arm to compress the spring a little like Iyman mentioned. Everything was very straightforward.
Cheers!
