The color on my 73 Mach said it was Blue Glow Metallic #5210-A. Anybody have this color with BLACK STRIPES. Would like to see how it looks. (leaning in that direction) I looked through the Marti's and didn't see any.

Only pic i could find of blue and black , don't think it is the exact color but it does not look bad

Looks great! I'm thinking it gives more of a stealthy look.

Only my Avatar with the hood treatment.....
Is that the correct color? If so, Very Cool. I think I'm going to like this!

Thanks for asking this question! I was thinking of doing mine in black instead of the argent!!! I like it especially with the hood done!

Color on the 73 vert is Blue Glow. I made the decision to go with semi-flat black instead of argent for the hood. I'm not a fan of the argent accent.

That's a beautiful car Bill.
Thanks, it's got some really nice features (R-A, A/C, gauges) and with just putting the rebuilt 3.25 Trac Lok back in with the CJ Torque Converter (2400 stall) it has a nice balance between street and the occasional highway trip.

This is going to work out perfect! Thanks for the help Bill. Now I've got to find another picture for my avatar and have Rocketfoot do some more of his magic.

Hi,

I have open also a post/message on march about the color

" Blue Glow "

I gone paint the car this month but no one knows the color

composition (mixture) can be found.

Maybe to use a Ford color " Performance blue " - " Hypnotic grey ".

Can somebody help me for the right color mix to make Blue Glow?

Thanks.

I dug up my files from when I restored the car and painted it ( in 1998)

I scanned the mix label with OCR and converted it to text.

Note: there are two 'Blue Glow' colors. There is 3K (5210-A) "Brt Blue Met" and there is 3G (5094-) "Brt Dk Blue Met". This formual (which I decided to use) is 3G.

NOTE: 1973 Ford color 3G - 5094-A

This was NAPA or Martin Senour Paint. Take this to your local automotive paint shop and they should be able to convert it to whatever they are using.

Good Luck
