C4 Crossmember Question

Hello I need help with my engine and trans conversion. My car originally came with a 351C and an FMX trans. I put in a 302 and have a C4 to back it up but I can't find any info on a C4 specific crossmember for the 71-73. Will the new power train be too short to use the original crossmember? Thanks for any help, just trying to get some info before I go to install and run into surprises

Thanks I have never seen one of those., only the three leg type.

That looks right to me. Same as my C4 mount. I went from a 302 to a 351C but kept the c4. All bolted right up no problems.

Thanks for the help guys, installed the C4 trans this weekend using the three point type crossmember with no problems

I think the 3 point type will bolt up to the C4 but it moves the tail shaft over to the left? To keep proper alignment I think you need the 4 point mount?
