Convertible Cobra Jet For sale U.K

I found a Convertible Cobra Jet for sale in the U.K for £4,500

Seller does not state year but i am assuming its a 72 or 73 due to color coded front bumper

Rotten floors, Good engine & gearbox. New roof included.

I have tried calling the seller but he isn't answering. Hope he is at work and can't answer right now.

I am going to buy it if the VIN is right and it runs.

It has to be a bargain at that price for a CJ?

I would be careful. If the floors are rotted out chances are the torque boxes are gone and likely the cowl as well as a lot of other things. Remember with the convertible especially the floors are a structural piece of the car (there is no frame under them) and on a vert the floors are all there is to connect the front and rear sub frames, where as a coupe or sportsroof has the roof as well.

I just saw a CJ vert around here go for $3,600 US. It was a '73 but it was advertised as needing new floors. When I inquired about it and asked for pics is was toast.

There's only one small pic in the mag. Its a gold color and maybe ginger interior with white wall tires
