I hate the way my sway bar fits.
With a modern performance alignment my lower control arms are adjusted nearly all the way out to get the camber where I want it, and the strut rods are forward to get the caster where I want it.
This puts the mounting holes for the sway bar links a lot further forward and out than they would be with a 1970’s alignment. Makes the sway bar links a pain to install and they probably bind a bit.
So the question is does anyone know of a manufacturer or a spring shop that could manufacture or torch, harden & temper a bar to make it fit correctly with a performance alignment? I’d love to see someone make some 1.125” and 1.250” bars that are about 5/8” wider on each side and 3/4-1” shorter.
