Forgive me if you've already covered this, but did you have the glass custom made or are you using factory style glass with the channels modded to make them work as flush-mounted pieces?

Thanks man, I’m trying to move this project forward now in a good flow and it feels so good!! 

No no that’s fine  No the glass are actually the factory one. The channels are modified to fit. I raised the frame and welded some metal in the sides and the top to make a open space between the frame and glass to get 5-6mm all around the glass to create a modern clean look. The rear glass actually does’nt follow the angle of the body hundred percent, but I’ll try to make it look as good as possible from what an eye can see when I install the glass with glue. I have made space between the frame and glass so there will be enought room to put a nice stripe of glue on it.

I have actually wrote to Chip Foose to hear what a set of custom made glass will cost to get produced as them he installed on the Mach Foose car. They were around 2000$. I did’nt want to spend that

Haha no that was just some stupid money to spend on glass No me either buddy, I hope it turns out as I want, it’s moving in the right direction!!

Spend half a day in the shop today. Got all the front suspension installed again, that has really been something I have looked forward to do. The front end is now completely restored, the same are the underside of the car and so are the wheelhouses, what a nice feeling man! Now I can move on with the inside of the car and the rest of the exterior. The plan are now to get everything sanded down on the exterior and inside the car and get everything sprayed with epoxy, then get the doors, fenders and hood on. Then I can move on with the design of the exterior! Damn I have come a long way these days, feels so good!  

While I installed the front suspension again I decided to cut an inch off the springs. That was an easy fix. To cut an inch off them I measured from the floor and up to the measurement I wanted and made both of them the exactly same way. But look at the two coils I cut from each spring. They are so different and that’s how they were directly from Global West who made them! I just thought I would share this with you guys when you are about to install new springs, check them before you install them to get the exactly same ride height left and right  

I just added a photo of a really cool helmet that my dad bought for when we are welding, it’s so nice ..  

And then just enjoy the photos of this beauty back on her shoes again! Damn I love her so much!!

Ready to start working on the inside of the car, everything are covered up around the car, it’s gonna be so great to have it finished inside the car reel soon, cant wait for that..

Made a little bit of progress here too, damn it’s a huge job to sand down in all those angles and so ..

Still working on the inside! I have’nt thought that it’s was such a huge job to get down to bare metal, damn it’s taking time! I hope it’s worth in the end! My little asked if he could try the sanding machine, so he helped me a little bit  Can’t wait to get finished and get some epoxy sprayed on! My work does’nt look like much, but you can tell by the floor that I have been working  lollerz

Made a lot of progress today, I allmost got finished with sanding the inside of the car! Damn this is gonna be so good and will nok so clean after it gets primer, sealer and epoxy! Cant wait for that!  Damn it’s a huge job!

Back to sanding and preparing the outside now! Cant wait to get everything in primer! I know I still have some modifications left to do, but I just want to get the car on a new level in the process now

Half way with the roof! Takes so long time too, I wont do it too hard so it will get dents and so, easy forward!  The last blue paint on the outside of the car

Got a little bit more done today! The rest of the day will be spend with the family, my son have Birthday the 14th january, but we will celebrite it today

Test fitting the front windshield and look how nice and clean it will look when it’s flush with the body and the gap around the windshield are smaller. You can tell the difference from my dads Mustang and mine, such a big difference! Like it so much! Just need to make a frame around now, cant wait for that

Haha it’s actually kind of embarrasing, but I actually forgot all about the bracket that hold down the trunk lid, I cut that out when I installed the trunkfloor! Glad that I could see that something was missing  lollerz Also found a small hole under the taillight panel that I got welded up! Right now I’m just finding and repairing all the small things around before it gets primer on!

So the last couple of days have been used to run over a lot of small things that needed to be fixed and some small holes around that needed to be welded! So finally I got that yellow stuff sprayed on the inside of the car. It looks terrible but it’s good for the metal!  Tomorrow I can start on sealer, then it needs to dry and then everything gets epoxy.
