I'm making an enquiry for another member. The question is this, do 69-70 clutch and brake pedal arms interchange with 71-73 and will the fit the 71-73 support bracket? He is contemplating swapping from an Auto to a toploader 4 Speed. (Related to my post on the RUG BJ2 by the way)

As most know, 71-73 pedals are hard to find but there is a set of 69-70 available. Has anybody done this or looked into the possibility?

Looking at pics on Google they do look similar, but...………….

Also, should any member have a set for sale, please PM me.

Thanks,

Geoff.

MDL sells a retrofit clutch pedal that works quite well and allows you to use a cable system instead of a z bar set up.
Yes, I'm aware of that option, but as it stands, he wants to stay close to the original Ford set-up

Thanks for the input though,

Geoff.

71-73 pedals are specific to the Mustang & Cougar.

One of our members had a set for sale.

That's as I thought. There was a set of 69-70 available, so I was just checking.

Our member Vicus in Germany is looking for a complete set-up to swap out an FMX to 4 speed. I wonder if any of this is still available and can be shipped to Germany.

 Thanks,

 Geoff.
