I can't wait to get this car back on the road. It has a lot of little things wrong with it, and 1 major one. Flat intake lobe on #2. Also thinking about painting it the original light pewter metallic, it's grabber yellow now.

Somebody need new glasses, it clearly states V Light pewter.
That is a great color.
Almost the same as mine except mine is a 4 speed and DSO of San Jose. Oh and yours has a load more options, but who's counting.

Probably going to do a Tremec swap.

It didn't when I first opened the report. It was a Z code 4V car with a 18xxxx sequential.

The Only thing I can figure out is that my phone somehow mixed up the uploads. But I don't know why it would have someone else's Marti Report. Either way not a big deal. Technology sucks sometimes. I didn't make the glasses comment. Just sayin.

No offence, but I had a little trouble with your reply, until I clicked 'expand', then I realized you did not type below the box. Oh well message received and understood.
As for the Marti getting mixed up on the phone upload, or whatever happened,
a good reason why I only use a computer. Besides, I DO need glasses!!

Wow - that is a well optioned car. What’s the backstory on the car and we need pictures. Or did I miss that part?

I don't know much about this car before I started dating my wife in late 2000. My Father inlaw bought the car from a pawn shop in Leesburg FL in the mid 90s. It was supposedly previously by Lake County sheriff who drag raced it. My father inlaw repainted it Grabber Yellow the same color that the Sheriff had it painted. After that it pretty much stayed in a barn until the 2001 Christmas parade. He let me drive it in the parade and then back to house. It started running like crap on the way home. My brother inlaw pulled the valve covers and found out that the intake lobe on #2 flattened out. My father inlaw put it back in the barn and set there until a month ago. Rewind 2 years ago. My father inlaw called my wife to ask her how to sell a car on Facebook market place and I just happened to hear the conversation asked which Mach1 he wanted to sell. I told him I wanted to buy it. He said I'll call you back. When he called back he said if I promised not to sell it I could have it. I was shocked, I loved that car. It was the first Mustang I ever drove. I didn't get it right way my shop wasn't built yet and Covid happened and the material shortages blah blah. Now the shop is done she home. I have no idea about how it got to Florida from Los Angeles CA. I would love to know.
