I can't figure out why it would be so much either for a recon pump, the 2062 casting maybe the thing, but does not ring any bells with me, but then again they had a whole heap of different casting numbers, so it may mean something to someone. I have a very rare Carter 4861S big body fuel pump and have been offered some crazy money for it. I better not let the guy I get to redo my pumps see this crazy price or he'll want heaps more to do them, he does them for me for $100 and they look as good if not better than that one in the add. There are quite a few NOS pumps up for sale here in Australia trying to sell for around $250 and no interest in them, as they've been for sale for quite awhile, then again according to the seller they're no good anyway so may as well throw them away because they'll fail. What a load of crap had quite a few done with NOS kits in them, with no problems at all. Then again a seller will tell you anything to make a sale.
