F150 repair rant

just picked up my 1999 F150 from the Ford dealer where I had it towed last week.  New fuel pump/filter needed at a cost of $800 (which I am sure was mostly labor).  This is the FIRST repair this truck has needed since new (not counting normal maintenance).  Gee, you would think you could get 25 years out of a part before replacing it!!!  Just kidding....

This truck is the reason all of my vehicles are Fords. :biggrin:

If you want a truck that lasts, you buy a Ford. My 2002 F-250 is a great vehicle and I have no plans to sell it, ever. Chuck
