1972 Bright Lime green Mach 1. Has 351c 4v heads with Holley manifold and summit 650 cfm carb, power steering, Power disc front brakes, FMX 3 speed auto tranny, and A/C. The car sits on 17 inch Eleanor wheels with 225/45 front and 245/45 rear. Car is nice bust needs some love under the hood.
While changing the starter yesterday I noticed the lower cover on the bell housing missing. I am pretty sure it needs to be there to protect the torque converter from crap flying in. Is it safe to say that not having this cover is a really crappy idea. Found one on EBAY for 45 bucks shipped. Seems a bit expensive for a bit of stamped steel. Is this a hard to find part? http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-FMX-TRANSMISSION-BELLHOUSING-COVER-1969-70-71-72-73-MUSTANG-COUGAR-351-/161474758445?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2598a5472d&vxp=mtr

You might be able to look around some junk yards and get the best price but here is one cheaper I found on ebay.

I bought the linked one. Thanks Dabowman, that is what I was hoping for. Looks like knowing the name of the part helps.
