If you skip to about half way through you get to the meat and potatoes of the assembly plant.
I have to say those people worked their tails off and had skill sets most people today do not have. The guy installing the roof sound insulation with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth was classic.
I do wonder how many of our Mustangs passed the water leak test in that rain room. It was pretty cool to see all the various Ford/Merc cars including a bunch of Mustangs on the completed car lot.

Yeah, I've seen that video before but it was nice to watch it again! There's got to be a video of '71-'73 Mustang production, wouldn't you think?
Yes, it would have been nice to see a Mustang on the assembly line. I have seen an edited down version of this video before a long time ago. On the bright side we got to see a lot of Cleveland blocks getting born, assembled and tested. The speed that the factory workers put those engines together makes the OCD engine blueprinting process seem a little nuts.

I remember Aretha driving on the "Freeway of love". The very end of the video has a cool shot of a train full of Mustangs cruising down the tracks. I always wondered if my car was on that train.

It was a fascinating place to work. When I was working there, I started with the Mustang II, and stayed there through the Fox bodied Mustangs. I had a wonderful career in the Rouge.
