Anyone have a good video on adjusting the front door on 71-73 Mach1?
I have tried googling but no luck. I found the different types of adjustments and that I need a special tool to get to the hinges bolts.
I noticed the other day one of the hinges is missing a bolt. I have replaced the striker pin a few times.
When my door shuts The back of the Window glass hits the chrome moulding.
Any info or adjustments appreciated.

You can adjust the glass independently of the door. You adjust the doors first, making them fit the body with good gaps. Then, with the interior door panel removed, you adjust how the glass is up and down.

Thank you for your reply. I didn’t mention but beside the window the stripes on door do not match up with the front and rear panels of the car.
I need to purchase the tool but not sure how to adjust the hinges to raise or lower the door.

First thing to check is the condition of the hinge pins and bushings by lifting up on the rear of the door with it open just off the striker bolt. If you have any noticeable movement, your first step should be to rebuild the hinges.

The hinges allow adjustment in different directions depending upon which bolts you loosen. The striker should only be used to set the depth of the door against the quarter.

As for the door glass hitting the quarter trim, you need to get the door straightened out first, then follow the step by step in the service manual.

Thank you I will check if I have any movement .
If so then check on rebuilding or new hinges.
Iw lifted on the door and it wasn’t loose. Only movement was the car itself.
It seems like just need to adjust the hinges. I saw a video that said a set of S-type SAE Obstruction Wrench Set is needed to get at the bolts. That’s all it except the places to make adjustments. The 2 hinges and the sticker pin.
Another said easiest is to remove the fender. Doesn’t seem easy to me.

I didn't need a special tool to adjust mine. I suppose I have a decent enough collection of ratchets, extensions, swivels, and wrenches. Something in there was able to reach the door hinge bolts without removing the fender.

But yes, Popping the rear of the fender off is not terribly hard. It may be something you'd have to end up doing anyways. After you adjust the door, you get to adjust the fender to line up with it.
