Question: I have all new suspension/ steering components installed. I tried to grease them with a manual large cartridge grease gun and the lever won't move. I check the grease flow without the gun on the fittings and it pumps grease. It's almost like the fittings are bottomed out in whatever component I am trying to grease. I used the fittings that came with the units. My gun is old, could that be the problem?

Make sure you have it pressed all the way onto the fitting. Mine would do the same thing if I wasn't on tight or sometimes if the alignment was too crooked.

You could try buying a fitting at your local autoparts/hardware store and try it 'uninstalled' to see if it works. I don't know if they came in different sizes or not.

I would pull off one of the zerk fittings, insert it into the grease gun and see if it will pump grease through it. You may have to get a swivel or flexible hose for your grease gun in order to get the correct alignment on the fittings.

Sometimes the little spring and ball are stuck. I usually take a small pick and push in on the little ball at the end of the grease zerk several times. if that don't work, toss it and put another one in.

I had the same problem. Drove it for about 100 miles. Then they all took grease as they should.I chalk it up to less than perfect off shore production.
