Short of adding a roll cage to my car, which I won't, I am toying with the idea of a harness bar so I can add 4-point harness for those days when I take the car to the track. The idea would include a seat with the harness slots. Has anyone added or seen one for our cars? Any alternatives to add a 4-point harness without major mods. I have fold down seats which make things more tricky. The rear seat belts points are too close to attach the harness and keep an angle of 20 degrees or less from the horizontal as they suggest.
I have seen some harness bars for other cars that look interesting. I guess I can custom make one as well but I want to better look around for something tested.
Something like this would attach to the rear seat belt floor points and the front seat door points.
