Anyone know where I can get the foam that goes between the cowl and Heater vents? Or can I make them out of something?

What are you talkin bout Willis?

On an AC car there is only one seal between the Heater / AC box and the cowl.  It is just a D shaped ring - or double D chunk of foam.  I don't remember.

There are "reseal" kits available from all the normal 71-73 parts houses.

I know for me once I dropped out my heater box I had to go down the rabbit hole of cowl repair.

I believe he's referring to the foam donut that goes between the plastic vent tubes and the cowl on non-A/C cars.
