- 72 Mustang Q Code Convertible
Hey everybody, I'm a new member from PA.
I've had a 72 Q Code ragtop for about 5 years, with some intermittent stalling issues, and finally recently got it resolved. Until now, I couldn't enjoy it because of reliability issues. It only took 5 years because of all the other projects that kept me from getting to it !!
It ends up it was the carb (quadrajet). I put an Edelbrock on it and made a couple brackets for throttle and kickdown, and the issue seems to be resolved.
This is my first classic Mustang, but I've had five '69/'70 Cougars, including a Competition Green '70 Eliminator that I sold last year.
Anyway, my second post will be about my electrical issue !!
Thanks,
Rick
