Has anyone made or know of a screen/filter that can be put in hood scoops? I have a nicely painted (white) hood and this time of spring/summer I get a ton of streaked bug guts that go on the INSIDE and its a PITA to clean? I like a screen insert to filter them, that I could pull out and rinse off fairly easy. Or even a plug I guess since its not truly a RAM air. thanks

Install these and never worry again! Your car will look more correct too!

I ran mine open with a plenum, open without the plenum, and finally put the block off plates back in.

Ram air is a really cool gimmick that produces no real horsepower and cobbled together partial systems can make car tuning a bit more difficult.

I would vote to simply plug them and call it a day.

Ummm... I think that's what Ray was providing the part numbers for, Jeff. :whistling:

:D

Yeah but Jeff reminded me they are called block-off-plates...

I think I called them everything but that a while back.
