HP Power Steering Hose Insulation Needed.

The high pressure power steering hose I bought a few year back as a replacement on my 71 Mach 1, only has a very short piece of foam insulation on it. If possible, I'd like to try to replace this with a longer piece. The problem is I can't find anywhere I can buy the type and size needed. On Amazon (.ca) they do have some foam insulation that would be perfect If it was the correct size. I also tried a local hydraulic hose and fitting company and they had never heard of it, how weird is that.
So gentlemen, does anyone know of where to buy this material? It needs to be 3/4" ID X 1 3/16" OD and I suppose 4 -6 feet long. (In Metric that is 19mm ID X 30mm OD. Actually, 18 mm is closer for the ID)
Any leads welcome. Of course this material must be the type used, not plumbing pipe insulation.

Thanks also. I'll check that out too. Wall thickness may be a bit too much, but worth looking at. 1/4" wall would be ideal.

The problem I might face with this, is passing the pump end fitting through. The material needs to be flexible enough to do that. Actually, I have a piece of ORIGINAL foam I took off a 71 return hose, but although it's in good condition, it's too stiff to get the pump end fitting through. If I could have done that, it would be perfect.

Be careful of EPDM, it is not oil resistant. Absorbs oil and swells/ softens up.

Yeah, I'm not having much luck either in finding 3/4 ID X 1 1/4 OD. It IS made we know, but seems not for general purposes. I will likely opt for the stuff from NPD, but that's pricy compared to other sizes available. As said before, I had missed that on the NPD website.

I know this is not the same and doesn't look the same, but it will probably provide similar insulation if used of larger diameter to keep an air chamber in between the two. I used this to cover the A/C hoses running by the engine. They have them in various diameters.

Thanks Tony, but not what I'm looking for. My intent is replace the way too short piece that is fitted to the replacement hose seen in my pic. This is for looks more than anything.
I'll get the one NPD sell if I can't find the same thing cheaper. (I need all the money I can save for gas!!)

That's what I have now, HP and return. The upper piece for over the brace is waaaay too short and looks bad. I can't believe whom ever reproduced this, was so cheap as to not do it correctly. it would have cost just a few cents.
This is a pic of an actual 71 hose I recently got from a buddy. I think it came off a Boss 351 as it also had the cooler. He has a B351.
I'll check out Don's store as well, but I'm going to Florida next week, so I'll likely stop at NPD in Ocala as there are a few other bits and pieces I need.

If you haven’t tried already, I’ve heard that using heat can soften the aftermarket foam enough to get it over the fittings. This has yet to be tried by me……… but it might be worth a shot.
I could also use that piece so please keep us posted!

Will do.
I'm hoping that new material should be pliable enough to go over the end fitting. I mean, they sell it as a separate piece. Also, as it's supposed to be oil resistant, some "lube" would help............ and no, I don't mean KY!
