And for the person looking for a car modded in this way - here is their bargain. Someone spent a lot of time and money to make the car look like that. They preferred the 73 grill too.

Not for me but see folks mention running non stock colored stripes.

:dodgy:

Black paint looks good in pics. I have heard to never buy a car in the rain (wet) or under lights at night. Both tend to hide flaws in the body and paint finish...

I agree. A different set of wheels, and that's actually not a bad-lookin' car.

The wing's a little different - but it doesn't suck as bad as some of the other ones we've seen. I think if it had less curves and more angles (like the car does) it would fit a little better - but it looks like it was fairly well done.

I would go back with a proper '71-'72 Mach 1 grille and sport lamps, some different wheels, and maybe ditch the roof & trunk lid stripe (or put a 2" split down the middle that runs through the TuTone that starts between the NACA ducts or something).

Oh - and fix the hood locks, too. ;) :D

I'm willing to bet the rear axle has been replaced. Looks to be a little narrow.:D
Good eye... I didn't notice that until you mentioned it. Wonder where he got that dual snorkel air cleaner?? Id like to get one and plum it to the 2 openings on either side of the radiator.

That's actually not bad looking. I noticed the grille was off but looks pretty good. I am sceptical about rainy day shots though.

Edit: wonder if someone could photoshop that spoiler onto a coupe?

That breather assy looks very 80's (mid to late).

Yeah early mid 80s 5.0 Mustang perhaps? That's also a 69/70 steering wheel.

The rear wheel offset/ rear axle width kills the look for me. Regardless if how well done the car could be, the easiest thing to change (wheels, tires) is wrong. Makes me second guess how wrong every other non-stock thing is.

Sorry...

Didn't the dual snorkel come on all Ram Air cars? Stickers don't lie.

? What year(s) are you referencing?

BTW - Stickers lie all the time. Trust me. I pulled my Boss 351 up to a 1970 Mustang in the drive-in restaurant many years ago and that '70 had "Boss 351" stickers on it. He was pretty cool but did not know much about Mustangs. He wasn't the type who would understand so we kept the conversation pleasant but short. We figured someone sold him what he thought was a real Boss 351.

Oh trust me... as someone who hasn't seen more than an inch of rain in all of 2014, everything in those pics looks wet to me. ;) :D

351 ram air decal isn't level, it's sporting some kind of odd ps pump, and what the heck is the coil doing way over on that side of the engine? Also in the door open pic it's missing the gasket for the quarter window
