I have observed these two different inner tie-rods beings used on our cars. Can anyone tell me which may be the Ford OEM tie-rod and which may be a replacement item? Or perhaps Ford used both these styles over the years? Thanks in advance!

Ford tie rod ends didn't have zerk fittings. The left tie rod is aftermarket. The right appears to be original Ford. Marcus Anghel, owner of Anghel Restorations has a great tech article on the 65-73 steering components.

Thanks for the good reference HemiKiller. Anghel answered the question. He has a great collection of Mustang Factoids, for sure.
