Is the “Ask a question” function broken on the website?

I have tried two different times over the last month to get dimensions on the BT3 battery tray sold for the 71-73 mustang with no response.

Just trying to figure out if the tray is for the smaller 24F battery or the larger 27F.

I'm in the same boat. I have a '72 and one of the first things I bought was a battery tray in '13.

I also bought a "correct" battery at the same time. The battery was a group 24 and the tray was a group 27. The 24 never quite fit right in the tray, but I lived with it, not knowing it was a "27" tray. Fast forward to now. The battery is 5 years old and needs replacing. I have also tried to find a 24 size tray with no luck, so I am just going to get a 27 battery. I believe they're both correct for 71-73 Mustangs...…...

I checked CJ pony parts today to see if they had answered the question yet. No answer.

I also emailed with no answer. I’d be stoked if they would give me some sort of answer, even if the answer was that they couldn’t give me an answer!

So, I have a group 27 tray with a group 24 battery in it for the immediate future.

24 is the smaller standard. 27 was optional, but option determined the size. The letter is the post orientation, but I'm no expert.

They only make the group 27 repro tray which is the larger one that came on cars with certain electrical options such as rear window defrost, power windows etc.

CJPP has the worst customer service in the business! That's why I have stopped ordering ill fitting parts from them. I was put on hold every time I called asking a simple question on how a part installs and they just transferred me from one sales person to another and then finally told me that their "Specialist" wasn't in today! What a JOKE!!!
