I made mine up from aluminium tubing as Fabrice suggested above. A couple of nylon insulator washers were pressed into to the holes for wear resistance.

Thanks for the photo. Can you provide the dimensions? Circumference and length of tube, distance from one curve to the next. Thank you.

Fabrice's offer is probably your best bet if it's out of the car. Mine is installed so a bit of an issue to get accurate dimensions you require. Also mine was slightly modded to match up with the Brawler carby. I didn't have an original to copy. Tubing is 12mm OD from the local hardware store.

Found a source for the kick-down-rod for the 429 CJ/SCJ, but it won't be available until after 4/15. Does anyone have a spare kick-down-rod and wants to move it? Contact me. Thanks.
I have one out of a 71 CJ car that had the spread bore carbureto.

Thanks for your post. Can you provide the dimensions of the rod: length of entire rod and distance between the various curves. And, are you willing to sell it? Thank you.

C6? If so it is safe to run without the kickdown until you get yours

Pics are of a 351CJ w/C6 kickdown linkage and are from the left side of the kickdown linkage except where noted looking from the rear of the linkage. Overall length is ~33 inches. I tried to capture measurements and label pics clearly. If you need additional measurements or angles just let me know.
