New to forum. My 1st post. I’m looking for this Mach 1. It was my first car. Keep it for 10 years. Sold in Virginia Beach, VA in 1986 or 87.
VIN is 3F05Q218623. Any help in locating this car is greatly appreciated. Thanks Stan

Welcome from Chicago! I hope you find your car. I know exactly where my original Mach is the same guy who bought it from me 40 years ago still has it and will not let it go.

Good luck with your search. I am the original owner of my car VIN 3F05Q261447 and it looks like yours came earlier. Mine arrived in Ontario, Canada in mid July, 1973. I hope you find yours because they are really great cars.

Our 73 Mach 1 was originally purchased by a member of the US Navy, purchased new by him. He sold it to owner #2, who had it for 35 years. We acquired it and did a deep restoration about 2 years ago. After the restoration we swapped the C4 for an AOD tranny. The prior owner replaced the 302 2v engine with a street/strip built (a modest 360HP) 351W (not C), and replaced the original 2.79:1 rear axle gears with a 3.5:1 TractionLok set of gears. It is a wonderful vehicle, And, I did check the VIN, this is not the one you are looking for.
