I am in the process of changing my mach 1 guage cluster to aftermarket guages. I have everything wired up but the connect does not seem to want to go back together. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for how to make this go make together? I think the pins are just not lining up correctly causing it to not go back together. I am attaching some photos any help or ideas would be appreciated!
Jeff

There's a bar and matching space that orients the two connectors together. It is easy to mis-wire one of them such that the bar and space don't align if you attempt to mate the two connectors by wire colors. Other than that, you do need to push on the locking tabs on the female pin side to slide it into the male pin connector.
