I inherited an MGR V8 like this one from my dad a few years ago.

1994 3.9L Rover V8, 5 Speed Gearbox. Leather interior. Woodcote Green paint.

!983 hand built in England.

This one was originally sent to Japan when new and then dad imported it to Australia through an importer in Sydney who made it comply with Australian laws.

Goes fairly hard and is like driving an oversized go-kart. Dad raced it at various tracks around Australia.

They didn't send them to Australia either. They would have sold like hot cakes over here.

Weight is about 1090 kg ( about 2400 lbs) with a full tank of fuel 50 litres (about 13 US gallons).

Top speed is just over 130 mph.

0 to 60 mph in just under 6 seconds.

It is only a little larger than an MGB. It was built as a retro car ( modernized MGB) in the UK and then they had some sort of fuel crisis so production was stopped. I think they only sold them in England and Japan.
