Some of you may have read my posts asking about the 250ci 6 cylinder. Well, if all goes as planned, I should be bringing home a playmate for Moose this week (Tuesday).
'72 vert, 6 cylinder, 3 sp manual. Its a little rough, but will give me something to play with.

Doesn't look too rough to me. Looks like a very solid car.

Congrats... Nothing that a good power washing can't fix. Certainly a chameleon as nothing in the appearance arena matches the MARTI report... Someone took the time to change its identity. Must be witness protection ;)

I love the 250 inch 6. Had one in my 1975 Granada. Also had the 3 speed top loader. Smooth running engine! I hope you have great success!

LOL, Granada sure brings back memories. I had a 79 Granada I bought back in 84 with two other cars as a package deal because I wanted the 69 Mustang coupe. I cold off the 78 Camaro right away and put for sale signs in the Granada. Then someone offered me way too much money for the Mustang so I sold it. I was stuck with the Granada and drove that for 6 months with For Sales signs in it. I ended up giving to my friend that needed a car to commute to college and even at free she wasn't really sure she wanted it. It was brown with a tan vinyl top and tan interior and tan body side moldings, not my style.

Mine was silver 2 door with a red interior. Had manual brakes but nice power steering. The A/C ran cold and I actually liked that car. My dad bought it new in 75 but my mom wrecked it in 1980 and in 1982. after the last wreck my dad parked it in the back yard and said F-it. My 78 Mustang II was on its last leg at 50K miles and my dad offered it up to me for free in 1985. I had to buy a new body front end and fix it myself....which i did. I drove it for 5 years and called it my Pimp car because of its classic 70 body vibe......a brick with 4 wheels. That 250 inch 6 ran like a top! Had recurring carb and power steering pump issues that wore me out. Sold it in 1990 for $700.
