Mustang Market door panels

Hi Sheriff,
Some time ago you posted about the M and M door panels. Im ready to cut in the door handle cups today but had another question please.
How did you drill the round hole for the door lock knob? I would gather a x slice to the vinyl but must get a round hole through the plastic and not damage the vinyl on the other side. Kinda a unique situation.

Howdy machattack!
I've been trying to remember how I did the door lock holes and I think I used a step drill for the hole. I can't remember which side I drilled from or how I cut the vinyl.
