Arizona car, 1973 Mach-1, Still has its original 351 Cleveland engine and its original C-6 trans, All original body panels, most of original paint. Interior is restored.
1973 Mach-1 still sports its original factory paint although a bit worn. All body panels are original. It also has its factory issued Cleveland 351 engine, which
has been fully rebuilt and its refurbished, original C6 transmission.
Certain features were customized around 1974, These include: -Set of 4 Keystone Kustom Wheels and rear P 275-60s
More recently, the interior was redone, and a 1970s 8-track player was installed. The car’s audio is also bluetooth enabled.

1973 Coupe, 302W, C4, Bright Red with white interior. It runs, but I keep finding more things to pull apart and repair, so it won't be on the road for a year or two.

1973 Mustang Convertible. Just imported from the USA as an unfinished project.

Hi All. Have a 73 Convertible was originally Blue 302 with Blue interior but I imported it as a half finished restoration. Had been repainted Black came witha 351W and 9 inch. Rebult the 351W and put on matt black Mach 1 73 graphics and blacked out the chrome. Came with the mid 70s Mercury Grand marque/crown vic rims that I had powdercoated as no money left for Magnums

My all time favorite vehicle is our 1969 Shelby GT500
We have two 1973 Mustangs. The first one we got is a 73 Mach 1 that originally had a 302 2v, C4 auto tranny, and a 2.79:1 rear axle ratio. Now it has a 351W (not C) street/strip moderately built engine (360 HP at the crankshaft), an AOD (4 speed) tranny, and a 3.51 TractionLok rear axle gear set. We added A/C, installed a Dakota VHX instrument panel with analog gauges, LED taillight panel, center full length console, installed a DashCam, installed a three row aluminum radiator and dual electric fans, mounted a Garmin Drive 51 GPS and wireless backup camera display unit on the center vertical bezel, and few other tasteful enhancements.

The 2nd Mustang is a 73 Convertible. It is a True Survivor, having been barn stored over 40 years. It has an original 20,300 miles on its odometer currently, and is in beautifully preserved condition. The powertrain is original with a 302, C4 auto tranny, and a 2.79:1 rear axle gear set. Most of the upgrades done on the Mach 1 were also done to the Convertible. We added A/C, installed a Dakota VHX instrument panel with analog gauges, LED taillight panel, center full length console, installed a DashCam, installed a three row aluminum radiator and dual electric fans, mounted a Garmin Drive 51 GPS and wireless backup camera display unit on the center vertical bezel, and few other tasteful enhancements.

Both Mustangs look and run great, although at the time of this post they are in Winter Hibernation until this coming April or so. This is a link to a YouTube video with a walk-around view of the 73 Mach 1:

With all the science going on recently I was curious as to the number of 71 vs 72 vs 73 on this forum. Please take the time to post up year and make. Believe it or not this will give a pretty good sample group as to the percentage of survivors vs the # produced. IF YOUR PROUD OF IT, POST IT!!!

2- 73 Q codes. 1 sport package automatic, 1 regular interior 4 speed.

1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 bright red, standard black interior,pb,ps
gauge package.rim blow steering wheel,15" magnum 500s,351 C 2bbl running a 4bbl Holley 600,MSD 6a with stock distributor and Pertronix,Comp cam mild grind, The Engine(rebuilt by me in 2002 for the second time the first rebuild I did was stock in 1995) made 305hp and 358 lb ft on the dyno. 9" 2.75 rear end,Global west sub frame connectors,620 front coils.Rear defroster. My parents bought my car brand new the year before I was born. I cherish it like my child.
