Speedo-Odo question:  I have converted my 1973 OEM Speedo(no trip Odo)-idiot lights to the 1973 Tach-Speedo with trip-odo.

The replacement Speedo has 10K more miles than the original, so I would like the new Odo to read the lesser miles.  Q: how do I put the old Odo into the trip Odo unit and retain the a functioning trip Odo?   As and alternative, how can I run the total miles back to the original speedo miles?

You can disassemble the odometer and roll back the miles.  Used car dealerships used to do that all the time...I did that on a 66 spare odometer that I had laying around.  If I could do it, you can too!

OK.  I will dive into it & make it happen.

Excellent!  Danno: book him for illegally rolling back an odometer!  *G*
