Just added a new vehicle to the garage. My son is getting ready to drive and I wanted him to learn on a stick. 5 spd, 4X4, it is fun to drive. Now we get to learn body work to get rid of the rust...

Great first vehicle for your son John. My son always wanted a manual transmission but he had to settle for an auto in his first car. Fast forward a couple of years, he has a 2005 Mustang GT five speed and absolutely loves it.

Nice, I had a couple of that generation F- 150"s . :) Always liked the way those ones drove. Last trucks to get the 300 -6 , another tough engine.

Great truck for the lad to learn in.

This is what my 17 y/o daughter learned how to drive a manual in ...

Cool first vehicle.

My mate and I borrow a short wheel base one of them from his brother when we where about 19 . V8 Stick shift 4x4 it was a hoot in the dirt until we done the big dukes of hazzard jump in it across a dry creek. His brother just could not see the funny side of 2 broken chassis rails and a manual tranny that had snapped of in front of the extension housing:angel: some people are born mean i guess:p

Steve,

Since this is listed in off topic, I'll go further off topic. I sent the letter to Marti asking about the possibility of no three digit GAA for the seat material oddity. I have not heard back. It's been about a month but I'll give it a bit more time and then send another.

Excited doesn't even begin to describe it. He washed, waxed, cleaned the interior, helped fix the brake lights and burned out headlight, replace the serpentine belt, etc. For the uninitiated, here in the Commonwealth we have annual safety inspections. Since this came from out of state, there were a number of things to fix before I could get tags. At least if passed the emissions inspection with flying colors.

John,

Thanks for following up with that. I can say that I have never seen a three character trim code on a Mustang. I believe they have that wrong. We have several vehicles here that prove that. Keep me posted on what you hear.

There is a space on the build sheet for a revision code but mine is blank.

You show see how much fun my daughter has taking this one to school once and awhile.
