Part Info Needed

I found these while sorting through some boxes, while looking for something else, and would like to know if anyone knows what they are and where they go ?

I went thru the effort to put the left and right hand version into separate baggies and label each bag, so i guess i did plan on putting them back on the car eventually.

This is set labeld "left"

They look very similar to some plastic trim that fits between the grille/headlight and the fender on 71/72s.

73s also, they mount to the fender brackets next to the headlight boxes.

Hmm, we looked all around the headlights under the hood for a likely place to put them , but nothing popped out to us. Can you see them from under the hood ?

There is a small 'cut' like spot in the grille at the top left of the headlight in this pic. The pieces in question go between/behind the grille and fender. You can't really see them when everything is all together.

They mount to inside of fender behind grill, behind fender extension…if you remove grill you will see 2 square/rectangular holes, each with a hole for the screw …

Those mount on the inside of the fenders. I circled the area in red.
