i might get a new steering wheel next year,haven't made up my mind yet to keep it because it looks oringal or go with the wood steering wheel....and thanks for all the great comments.

 
Replied to the PM.

Very simple, weld the seat frame back together and reinforce it. You'll need to strip it down to the seat base frame, massage the broken metal back into place and weld it together. Then reinforce the weld by overlaying a new piece of metal over where it cracked and weld it in place. Smooth out the welds and put the upholstery back on.
