I've used QA1s about times before (on different cars) and never could say to anyone I liked the ride quality.

I've always used Bilstein as soon as I rolled any car I've owned off the lot and have always been pleasantly surprised with the increased handling and road feel without being harsh.

What bilstein struts are you guys using? I just might get those with a set of eaton springs with a 1" drop. I mean the actual part numbers for the front and back? I cant seem to find them listed specifically for our cars. You using the sport or HD versions? Thanks

The bilstein struts are specific to the street or track coilover system you can't use them with stock control arms..You just need plain old bilstein shocks for a 73 Mustang http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/bilstein.asp The listings for 65-70 should fit our cars call Bilstein direct for more info or check with mustangs unlimited

The 1970 shocks mount differently on the top than the 71's. Just FYI

Your right for the front, which is why I said call direct for more info- I know the rear fits should have been more specfic

I also had Koni shocks. You can change the strut tower top bracket from 70 Mustang and they will bolt on. I still prefer the Bilstein shocks.
