1973 Mustang Sportsroof. Currently a work in progress!!!
Hey all,

I'm working on replacing the rubber on the quarter windows on my '73

The old rubber is hard and I risk damaging the chrome if I just start digging. Any tips on getting this?

Also I haven't see the replace 'felt' that goes on the interior plastic quarter panel side. Is that available?

Thanks in advance.

Tim

When I did mine, I just carefully unfolded the pinch metal at the bottom end and slid the rubber right out. The pinch end is not visible when the car is assembled, but I did not scratch or damage any appearance metal. I thought it was pretty easy actually.

Someone mention spraying pb lubricant on it and letting it set for an hour. The trim is stainless steel so if you scratch it just polish it out. The pieces you need. Weather stripping is available on line.
