Hello again. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my car. I still have many questions.

My car comes with a 3.50:1 S-code trak-lock diff.............do these units make slight noises until warm?

Any info is good info. Thanks.

Not really. The only rear end units with a reputation for noisy operation are Detroit Lockers...and they make noise warm and cold.

I've heard limited slip diffs make a sort creaking sound (the way front brakes will sometimes sound when you barely have any pressure on the pedal and car inches forward) from lack of the Friction Modifier additive.

If a traction lok is set up "tight" so it will live longer for straight line use, it will shudder at slow speed turns, even if the friction modifier is being used.
