The last approx. 1' of retainer is missing from my right side. The PO had foam strips stuffed in both sides. I want to replace them with the proper seals. Finding them is no problem. The right forward section of the retainer where it curves down is missing. The chrome piece is there and intact. It almost looks like a separate piece.

The left side has the curved retainer present. Without removing the foam strips, it almost looks like a separate piece, like I said.

The front end is a separate piece. It's about 18" long-thats about 12" on the lowest vertical section, then it makes a 45° bend and runs about 6" until it fits into the upper section. They are the same on all models. Coupe, fastback and convertible all same part.

That's what I sort of envisioned.

Is this piece available? I also am seeing roof rail seals online that look what I have now, just a strip of foam like-rubber stuffed into the channel. I thought roof rail seals were grooved to accept the window when it is rolled up. The seals on the fixed rear quarter windows are like that.
