Do you have any pics or can you describe where the heater valve and the bracket screw into or attach to??
Thanks a lot!The valve does not bolt to anything. One side goes into the "S" shaped hose, the other goes into the straight heater hose. Basically it is suspended by the heater hoses. Chuck

There is a arrow on the value, does it go toward the firewall or away? Also, there is a vacuum port, does this draw vacuum from the back of the carb??? The port for the diaphragm on the valve faces the front of the car. The vacuum is switched from the heater control inside the car and passes through the upper, center of the firewall as part of a two hose molded "grommet".
