Looking for a set of steel wheels for my 73 that will take the dog dish caps. I would like to get a set of 15 or 16 steel wheels for the car that I can put on a set of the dog dish caps with no rings and am looking for something wider than the original 6" like 8-9" for rear and 7" for front. Anyone know if someone makes these or if wheel from another ford would fit this?

You might give this company a try:

There used to be a lot of places that would remove the spider, add a hoop to the center of the wheel to widen it, and reinstall the spider at whatever backspacing you want.

You might check locally for someone that refurbishes and straighten wheels.

Summit and others have an OEM type steel wheel up to 17 inch diameter and 10 inch wide that will accept dog dish caps. I'm thinking of getting those too.

I saw those as well and was on the Wheel Vintiques site as well. But Damn Over $200 per wheel for steel? That just hurts. I was hoping there was another ford vehicle that shared the bolt pattern but came with a wider wheel.

Look into wheels from the econoline vans

I think there was a posting about some 15 X 8 off the vans with a center cap
