71 Mach 1. Originally 2V but going 4V soon!
I'm doing the tach conversion from Rocketman. So far looks like quality work, packaged great and easy shipping with tracking.
I'm trying to test under the hood before installing in the dash but she turns over and wants to start but dies as soon as key is in the on position. The instructions call for 'install jumper in OEM tack connector'. Am I thinking right that the old connector that was on the tach, which he did send back, need to have the leads tied together and then plugged back into the dash wiring?
Anyone ever done this? TIA

Cross posted on FB. :)

Yes, You have to jumper the male/female molded connector that comes from the underdash harness to the tach.
