My Car
1972 Mustang Convertible

So I had to drop off some stuff at the metal recyclers and what do I see on the rack about five minutes from becoming a cube. A '71-'72 ragtop. Thankfully the owner of the scrap yard is a car guy and will hold the car back from its final destiny for a couple of days. The price is $400 for the car which seems fair but I have to take it from his property (liability issues) and have it delivered to my house, stripped and then sent back to the recycler. And then there is the mess and the pile of parts that I unfortunately have no room for. So unless I can figure something out in the next couple of days it looks like another one will be reduced to a shiny new appliance without giving up some worthwhile parts.
