Here is the first photo I took of the 72 Coupe before we started restoration...3 years later, it is still unfinished...LOL!

The above picture is a picture of my girlfriend (now wife) and myself in 1973. The other picture is my car now in 2015.

Can't remember if I ever posted a pic of my car in our wedding. Heres a couple shots from the wedding. There's one I can't find of my wife's reflection in the blackout of the hood. It's really cool. I will have to see if I can dig it up. This was almost 10 years ago. Right after I had the car painted. No stripes or louvers and still had the aluminum slots.

At this point i was almost over with the mechanical phase! This is at my parents house....when i got the car out of there my father planted a tree in front of that shed!...So i couldn´t get another car in there!! that was almost 10 years ago.

TBT, Here is a picture of my 73 Mach 1 that I ordered new with 32 factory installed options. This picture was made 1983 and the car was put in barn with 12,301 miles on it and is still there today 34 years it has sat. It was built May 11, 1973 yesterday was bday, lol. The interior pics are how it looks today. Not washed or cleaned in 34 years, sad.

I don't know how I missed this thread. Here"s my 71 Grande in 1990 after getting 1st place out off 8 cars in 69-73 coupe class. It was the 1st Mustang show that I entered.  I got the 2nd trophy for farthest distance traveled. I just moved to California and I still had Connecticut plates on the car. The show was about a mile from my house.

My 73 in I had in high school. Girl friend wasn't happy when I showed up in my Mustang for prom instead of my parent's car that she thought I was going to bring. Inside pic shows the Pioneer super tuner III radio that was all the rage in 81 LOL

I had the same color Mach 1 but I was in my early 20s when I got mine. I didn’t have the black on the hood but I had a black half vinyl top. Nicest car I ever had and I always wanted to replace it. It took me almost 40 years but I finally did. The replacement is ivy glow (green) with argent stripes also on the hood. My 1st one was a Q code the replacement is an H code, but at my age that doesn’t matter anymore. I’m just happy I got that car and all my memories from that car back. It’s like reliving my youth over.

I feel the same way. I am restoring a 71 and painting it Wimbledon white like my 73 was.

AND, those fog lights were VERY popular in the late 70s to early 80s. I think I put them on every car I owned

I found another throw back picture of my buddy and I washing my 73 Mach1, probably circa 1981-ish, I would guess junior year of high school. The windshield graphics were big then, I had a stripe guy I knew trace the deck lid decal and cut out the vinyl for the windshield.

I'm the one with the hose and my back to the camera. Still don't know why my girlfriend took a picture when no one was facing the camera but it's a good pic of the car though
