Hi,

I am in the process of routing lines from my radiator to the transmission. Does anyone have pictures showing the correct route starting at the radiator and including where the lines fasten to along the run back to the transmission? The car is a 72 with a 73 C6 transmission. I included some pics. My radiator has the vertical input and return connections. I purchased a set from Inline Tube and a first glance they don't look right. What appears to be the return line has a straight run where the trans line should elbow into the return on the back of the transmission. I am getting it up on the lift shortly so will be able to see what fits. I have a feeling I will be making my own or at least some of it.

Thanks,
Darren

The upper fitting on the radiator is correct. The lower appears to have been changed out to add in an auxiliary cooler. You'll need a fitting to match, the Ford part # is 359279S

The C6 shows a 90° fitting at the rear cooler line connection. The 429 Megasite shows the fitting in their concours detailing section.

NPD has it on their website.

A good hydraulic shop might have these. Keep in mind the case side is a straight thread with o-ring seal, not a tapered NPT.

Hey I forgot to thank you for the info. I ordered both parts. I was a little confused because the lines I had were both swept into the transmission connections. When I saw the straight piece on the new line it didn't make sense. With the elbow it makes sense now. Saved me some time. Much appreciated!

Thanks,
Darren
