Hi all
Just seeing if anyone has a good quality driver's side exhaust manifold for sale for a 71 429 scj

Used D1ZE-9431-CA-2 here. Intact but has a crack; no broken off pcs. Cracked castings CAN BE WELDED; seen it done multiple times w/ VG results. Western Canada, $500 & ride. Cash or Etransfer accepted. My direct is djjsc(at)juno(dot)com20230607_072926.jpg20230607_073000.jpg20230607_073036.jpg

I had long headers on my 429. I didn't like them because of the possibility of scraping the pipes on bumps and they leaked some what at the collector on the passenger side. It took me a couple of months to find a pair of manifolds than would be correct. passenger side was no problem but the drivers side was a bitch to find. I did find a pair on Ebay and paid $1400 for them. got my muffler shop to put them on while removing the headers and hook up the exhaust system with new Flow Masters. Goog luck finding the correct drivers side manifold, they are rare.

I had the hooker headers on my 70 Torino Cobra. Sure enough, the tubes that go under the chassis scraped. It sucks that no one makes a better design long tube header for the big blocks. I have a set on my car now that someone custom made. All of the tubes exit between the crossmember and firewall and work with clutch linkage. IMG_1519.jpegIMG_1523.jpeg
